Slightly underwhelming...
a-variel-fandom: this Christmas Special was. Last year really raised the bar and this one didn’t meet it in my eyes.  Some sweet moments, a brilliant Matt Smith and a great ending. But overall a bit disappointing.  Mhm. The story felt too far-fetched and erratic to me somehow. The ending was really touching, though. And Madge was a fantastic character.
