I had a minor spaz attack at work because I was checking Twitter and saw Mark Gatiss being a total fucker and trying to tease us about Sherlock:
And then on top of that, Mark Sheppard had to go and retweet this response to Gatiss’s tweet:
Now, let me tell you something.
Earlier in the year I would’ve said that I’d be happy no matter who they ended up casting as Sebastian Moran, because all it will take to please me is for Sebastian Moran to exist inside the series.
But then at some point along the road I decided I wanted Mark Sheppard to play him. Now, I don’t usually do the whole dreamcasting thing… and on the rare occasions that I do, I never get super invested in my dreamcast. It’s just a small bit of fun.
But if Mark Sheppard doesn’t get cast as Sebastian Moran, I think I’ll be emotionally traumatized. Because I am super. fucking. invested. in. this.
That investment stems partially from the fact that I think he’d be perfect for the role. But I think that most of it comes from the knowledge that he actually wants the role really, really, really badly.
God, I hope they cast him as Moran.
I really, really do.
At the “11th Hour” Mark artfully avoided really anwering “Sherlock”- or “which role would you like to play next”-related questions (he generally did this a lot - “This was the best non-answer of the day.” *g*). At one point he just gave up und told us that he’d lie anyway (“I’m that guy. I’m never telling the truth.”), for example, he once was asked if he’d like to be in Doctor Who, and while he answered sure, but he didn’t think it was going to happen anytime soon, he literally had the ticket to Cardiff in his pocket. So, he went on, we’d just have to wait and see. And somehow, I’ve got a good feeling.

So I finally got to have my photo taken with the brilliant Matt Smith. He gave me a very wide-eyed look and a grin when I walked up to him and was happy to do a back to back pose. It was also very surreal to have my photo taken with so many people staring! Either way it made my day and I hope you like it.
You can also check out my facebook page here :)OMG FINALLY
I stood in line when the picture was taken and had a clear view to what was going on in the front - Matts face was priceless! :D

Matt Smith is SUCH a nice guy!
I know it’s rude to stare but damn, Mark Sheppard is even more good looking in person. In other news: the Con hasn’t even officially started yet but there are already loads of fezes around. And everyone, including the staff, is realy excited for Matt. Loving it.
-last weekend loads of fun in surviving BloodyCon and an awesome evening together with the Vampire Diaries Actors in a very old house. And red wine :D Ian Somerhalder is such a sweetheart. Ridiculously good looking, intelligent, funny, nice - and he is all into animal rescue. Must be a hologram or robot or something like that :P
-finally had a jobinterview on tuesday :D.
-and tomorrow I´m off to Birmingham to meet the wonderful Hoppi at the Eleventh Hour Doctor Who Convention. Matt Smith. I will see him. Finally. Keep breathing. Just keep breathing.
Aaaah! So excited! :D
I’m going to see Matt Smith, Alex Kingston and Mark Sheppard!
